How To Make Money Online In Nigeria

How to make money online in Nigeria is a question that has bothered many Nigerian internet entrepreneurs. This article seeks to demystify how to make money online in Nigeria. Despite the challenges Nigerians face in their attempt to make money on online, there are several ways through which they can achieve this? The major obstacle in making money online in Nigeria is the 419 syndrome that has become a dirty toga worn by Nigerian online entrepreneurs unwillingly.

However, this fact does not stop one from exploring ways to make money online in Nigeria.
I have enumerated here six ways to make money online in Nigeria without facing too much difficulties, they are:

1. Third party advertising: for this Google AdSense is king; all you have to do is set up a website or blog and signup for the Google AdSense program. This enables Google to deliver ads on your site. You get paid when visitors to your website or blog click on the ads displayed. What you have to do is ensure that your site generates enough traffic o enable you earn from Google ads on your site .

2. Kontera Context ad system is a variation of the Google AdSense system. You also get paid when visitors to your site click on the ads delivered by kontera. One can make money online in Nigeria by taking advantage of this system. On sign up you are given a code to paste on your site.

3. Own shares of an internet company: Nigerians can make huge money online like Jerry Yang of Yahoo, Larry Page of Google and a host of other internet entrepreneurs who started internet companies at the early stages of the internet and today are billionaires due to the large number of shares they hold in these companies. Though it seems these opportunities do not exist or are hard to come by, agloco a new revolutionary company on the internet has provided an answer to the question how to make money online in Nigeria they have come up with a system where by you can own shares of their internet company for free. All you need do is sign up for agloco, download their viewbar then you get paid for the hours you spend browsing with the agloco view bar, you get paid when you introduce people to agloco and based on your activity within the agloco community, you get shares of the company allotted to you which entitles you to share in the companys global profits.

4. Buy Domain Names and resell. Imagine if you had the foresight to register the domain name business.com which sold for over $8 Million afterwards. Domain name farming is another perfect way to make money online in Nigeria. If you own the domain name johnutaka.com you can only imagine how much our own John Utaka would be ready to pay you for his domain name. You bet it will be thousands of dollars. Oops, I mean pounds. Domain name farming requires thorough research and thinking therefore you should take your time to do it right. Buying domain names is easy using your credit card. In the absence of credit cards which is a major hindrance to thousands of Nigerians who aspire to make money online in Nigeria, e-gold can also be used to purchase domain names.

5. Another way to answer the question, how to money online in Nigeria is to set up an e-currency exchange. E-gold is currently the electronic currency that has the highest demand. In their quest to make money online, Nigerians have embraced the e-gold payment system as means of payments especially for some MLM programs from which a lot of them are making huge money. Setting up and e-currency exchange service is easy and you can start off with minimal capital. With an investment of N130K one can make about N15K weekly which is not a bad one to start with, however if you are able to muster bigger capital, you can make between N70-N150K every week.

6. The last and the most fireproof of all the methods to make money online in Nigeria are what I consider the greatest multilevel marketing programs online. They are clubfreedom and diamondcashclub. While clubfreedom is into the organization of luxury holiday tours, diamond cash club is into the sales of gemstones. Signing up with club freedom and meeting their marketing targets (you need to introduce 2 people) enables you to earn $6000 cash, $1000 worth of an all expense paid luxury holiday and $1,000 to reenter you into their system to enable you earn the same thing all over again without paying a dime. Registration for clubfreedom is $200. Diamond cash club on the other hand pays about $8,000 cash and all you need do is register with $220, introduce 2 people, they in turn introduce 2 people till you get to earn. check out clubfreedom.biz/mrceaser, diamondcashclub.net/mrceaser

Thats it. Study the text above see what method suits your personality type and explore it to maximum benefits. You can make money online in Nigeria only if you commit yourself to the things that work. Avoid jumping from one program to another without consolidating your hold on one program first. I wish you best of luck as you continue to explore means to make money online in Nigeria.

Seven Ways to Generate Income From Your Website

If you own your own website, there are a variety of things you can do to generate extra income for yourself. To enjoy the most success for your efforts, you must take into consideration your existing website content, as well as your particular target audience. You will also want to know the approximate number of visitors you regularly receive to your website.

Once you have this information, you can decide which idea (or ideas) will apply best to you:

1. Include Google Adsense on your web pages. Google delivers text and image ads that are targeted to your site and its content. When people click on an ad, you will receive a portion of the amount paid to Google by the advertiser. On average, you can expect to receive anywhere between 2 cents to a dollar per click, depending on the keyword.

2. Make money selling other people's products and services through affiliate programs. Each program you register for should provide you with an affiliate link to track your referrals. Depending on the program, you will normally be paid on a per sale basis or for each sign-up you generate.

3. Sell advertising space on your web site. You could sell banner and/or classified ads. If you want to make additional money, sell sponsor ads and place them is a special section or towards the top of your website for the most exposure.

4. If you have enough web space available on your server, you could rent web pages to other people. You could also give the web pages away for free, but include your banner or advertisement on them to generate income for yourself.

5. Charge people a fee to access a dedicated part of your website. People will pay you money for your website content if it's valuable to them. The content can be ebooks, reports, software, etc.

6. Sell your own products or services. Of course, they should be related to your target audience. You will also want the ability to securely accept credit card payments directly from your website. Other forms of payment such as PayPal, ClickBank, etc. is also preferred. Delivery of your product should be as fast as possible.

7. Publish an e-zine from your website. Have people subscribe to the e-zine right from your web site. In addition to direct sales of products or services you are promoting, you could sell classified or sponsor advertising inside your e-zine.

Each of these ideas will generate income, but if you are a new website owner, I recommend starting with Google Adsense. These ads continue to grow in popularity and are easy to customize and install on your web pagessimply copy and paste a block of HTML.

For new internet home business entrepreneurs, in addition to Google Ads, you should also consider affiliate programs. Most affiliate programs are free to join and usually offer marketing tools and resources that are readily available for your use.

How To Write a Call to Action That Sets Up Your Web Site Visitors to Take Action

Whenever you are writing an ad, you know that the first few words are the most important. This is what is going to draw people into the ad and make them want to read more. However, the next most important thing would have to be the call to action part of the ad. Now, for those of you that do not know what the call to action part of an ad is, it's the part that asks you to find out more about a product or service.

For example, if you read an ad that says, "Want to lose weight!? Find out more here." The part that says find out more is your call to action part of the ad. The ad is telling you what is at that site, but at the same time, it is saying if you want to know everything, you are going to have to visit the site. This is a great way to, not only get people wondering what you are selling, but it's a great way to get people to come to your site. The call to action part of your ad is very important in setting up your visitors to take the action needed to visit your web site.

There are many different lines that you can use that would be called a call to action tag line. For example, anything that pretty much asks a question is a sure fire way to set up action and get some response going. Things like ''find out how'', ''learn more here'', ''drop everything'' and ''visit' are all call to action tag lines. Although these are not all questions, they are another way of trying to get people to click on your web site link.

So why are these call to action tags so important? Well, think about it. What is the main reason why you put up an ad on the Internet? The answer is, to get people to click on it. So if you have a call to action tag line that is getting people to click on your link, then you have a very helpful and money wise ad. Some ads can be hard to write, but at least you know what kind of elements have to be in it to make a good ad become a great ad.

As you can see, a few words in your ad can lead to massive results. In fact, many people say writing killer copy is the single most valuable money-making skill in the world. Trying to come up with call to action tags that are going to work for your ad and your product can be hard to come up with. That is why a lot of different people hire freelance writers all over the world to come up with their ads. Freelance writers can sometimes cost a lot of money, but at times, the ads that they come up with for your business are well worth the money.

Pump and Run - As Prices of Gasoline Rise So Does This New Criminal Activity

With the price of gas reaching upwards of $4.00 a gallon, it didn't take crooks long to think up another way to make law abiding citizens pay for their criminal behavior. The new scam is called "pump and run". This is very easy for the criminal to pull off and leaves you footing the bill.

Not many of us check to see if our license plates are still attached to our vehicles, but with this scam it is important that we do. The criminal merely takes your license plate off your vehicle and attaches it to their own cars (stolen cars they could care less). They then proceed to pull up to a gas station, fill their cars tank and then drive away without ever paying the tab. Hence the term "pump and run"!

If by chance the attendant or other paying customer happen to get the license plate number, the criminal is still in the clear because the license plate number that they obtain will be yours. It is imperative for any vehicle owner to check and make sure that their license plates are in tack on their vehicles. If you do find that they are missing you must report this to the authorities right away, before this criminal activity has taken place and you find yourself in court taking the blame.

Depending on your state the penalty for stealing a license plate can be as little as a $100 fine. Recently a Pennsylvania man was found guilty of stealing gasoline from a machinery dealer. His three year sentence was probation. It is a sad fact that although laws are tightening as prices of gasoline rise, when caught and convicted, little is done to these criminals.

Increaing The Odds Of Making An Online Sale

The issue of whether online marketing is an art or science has been hotly debated by proponents of either view.

My own belief is that there are elements of both science, and art, in the marketing of goods and services online.

The true e-commerce guru has a natural and instinctual grasp of the principles which decide success or failure, and executes those principles in a truly exquisite form -almost in an artistic fashion.

The rest of us - those not born with an instinct for marketing - are reduced to laboriously studying and implementing those same principles - often through trial and error.

Being in the latter group, I have attempted to discover which factors come into play when determining the likelihood of making a sale online. Based on the factors which I have observed, I've devised a formula which I believe can be used to accurately predict the probability of making an online sale.

For sheer vanity sake, I have named my formula "Dozier's Law of Ecommerce Probability".

The formula is written like so:

P = ( D + U + DV + CF ) / 100

In plain English the law can be verbalized as so:

There are four factors which determine the likelihood of a purchase being made online. These factors are the buyers desire [D] for the product, the buyers urgency [U] in procuring the product, The Perceived Value of the deal [DV] as presented, and the amount of confidence [CF] the buyer has in the ability of the seller to satisfy his desire. If one assigns a value from 0 to 25 to each of these factors, adds the values of all four factors and divides the sum by 100 - one may accurately predict the probability of a purchase occurring.

Let's look at an example:

Joe Blow is in need of a widget. He absolutely needs the widget for a school project which is due in six weeks. Joe goes to a website which sells widgets, and finds a widget for $39.95. Joe seems to recall seeing a similar widget for sale somewhere else for $29.95 - but isn't sure where. The website seems fairly well designed, but he's not familiar with the company.

Let's add up the numbers.

Because Joe absolutely must buy a widget, we'll assign a score of 25 to value D.

However - although he must buy a widget, Joe has a little time available to shop around, so we'll assign a value of 5 to value U.

The price seems a little high to Joe. Not out of line, but he thinks he might do better, so we'll assign a value of 10 to value DV.

The website looks like it was professionally designed, but Joe isn't familiar with this particular widget vendor, so we'll assign a value of 8 to value CF.

Our formula now looks like so:

P = ( 25 + 5 + 10 + 8) / 100

This calculates to 0.48 - or a 48% probability that Joe will purchase the widget.

By raising any of the factor values, we would raise the likelihood of a purchase.

If Joe only had two weeks to purchase, the website inspired a little more confidence, and the deal was just slightly better, the probability of a purchase would be substantially increased.

The trick for the e-commerce merchant is to raise the value of each of these factors to a level where Joe reaches the tipping point and pulls out his credit card.

You might be tempted to believe that only two of these factors - deal value and confidence - may be influenced by the merchant. This is not correct. All four factors may be influenced, to some degree, by successful marketing.

Desire may be enhanced by skillfully displaying and describing the product and the benefits which the purchaser will derive from this particular widget. This particular widget might improve Joe's life in ways which he never dreamed possible. As an ecommerce merchant, it's my responsibility to point this out to Joe.

Urgency may be introduced by making a limited time offer.

Perceived Deal Value may be increased by pricing, special offers, better selling, etc.

This brings us to the Confidence Factor.

Internet buyers are a skittish lot, and must be constantly reassured. This may be accomplished through several different techniques.

Most importantly - you must have a professionally designed website. Your buyer has very little to judge you by, and how professional your site looks tells a visitor oodles about the company behind the site. Unless you are a well known company, a prospective buyer doesn't know if you are a legitimate business, a 14 year old doing business after school and before bedtime, or an identity thief out to steal their credit card. A well designed website goes a long ways toward alleviating fears.

Along the same lines - please don't think that good graphics, alone, will do the trick. How's your spelling? It's impossible to tell how many sales have been lost because a misspelled word spooked the buyer. Use a spell checker and get someone to proofread your site.

Testimonials can inspire confidence, as can product reviews.

Another interesting area is the color scheme of your site. An entire field of psychology is devoted to studying the effect of various colors on the human psyche. Some colors tend to make people anxious, and some colors inspire trust.

Finally, let people know that there is a real person or a real company behind the website. If you are a one man (or woman) show, you can use frequent articles or a blog to assure the prospect that not only are the lights on - but somebody is actually home.

Every factor in the probability formula may be- and should be - influenced by you to some degree.

The Science of Getting Rich - Offer more in Use Value than You Receive in Cash

In my previous article, I stated that people are moved to do business with people that they KNOW, LIKE and TRUST. I indicated that the Law of Attraction states that like attracts like, therefore you will attract people just like you to your business. I challenged you to consider if you are the type of person you would like to attract. In order to honestly answer that question, it is necessary for you to take a hard look in the mirror, and at your business.

The Science of Getting Rich book written in 1910 by Wallace D Wattles, and the inspiration for the hit movie "The Secret" tells us that in order to become rich, we must do things in a "Certain Way". We are advised that we should always give more in use value than we receive in dollar value. We are warned to move away from the competitive to the creative plane where we never have to take anything away from anyone, or drive sharp bargains, or cheat or take advantage. We are challenged to conduct our business so that the key thought of all our efforts is to convey the impression of increase. This increase is far more meaningful than giving a use value greater than cash value. It is something that we exude from our core.

If your business is one that takes advantage of others, that tricks, manipulates or fools people; if you are selling something that really offers no use value - even if you are achieving a level of financial success in doing so, you must stop immediately. The financial success you achieve in this manner is fleeting - "it is yours today and another man's tomorrow". Remember, like attracts like. If you are cheating others, you can expect to be cheated yourself. Your gain is temporary, and if you have a conscience, the damage to your psyche is not worth the financial gain anyway.

The only permanent and right way to become rich is by utilizing your creative mind. When you understand the Law of Attraction, it is not necessary for you to compromise your integrity. Scan your business. Look at your products, your services. Any that do not provide greater use value than the cash you take for it, stop promoting immediately. You are likely to feel an immediate sense of relief!

Become the person you want to attract into your business. Be honest, fair and trust worthy. Provide effective and efficient customer service. Return your phone calls and emails. Support your new partners. When you are genuinely interested more in your customer's experience than your own gain, they will "feel" that increase mentioned earlier. Position yourself, posture yourself with confidence, but do not be boastful. "Wherever you find a boastful person, you find one who is secretly doubtful and afraid". When you hear someone brag about their success, know that they are doubtful and afraid.

This is a difficult concept for many of us. We often believe that giving for the purpose of receiving is wrong, but it is really just business. It is the person who denies this, who fails to acknowledge or recognize the nature of a positive business transaction that fails to present himself in the way of providing "increase". This is the person who claims to give something for nothing, and we see them all the time in network marketing businesses. Think about the free mentoring programs you have been offered. There is really no such thing as free. There is a cost in every transaction. You receive "free" tools, e-books, mentoring or other valuable products or services in exchange for your name and your contact information. There is no monetary cost, but you are making an exchange. It's just business. This is not manipulative on its own, but if you are being told that there are no strings, you are not being told the truth. At a minimum, you have become an opt in lead.

When you pretend to be something or someone that you are not, you are working from the competitive mind and if you see success, it will not be lasting. When you truly are giving greater value than you receive, everybody will know it, and you will have no lack of customers. "People will go where they are given increase; and the Supreme which desires increase in all, and which knows all, will move toward you men and women who have never heard of you."

Altruism as as wrong as selfishness, and neither will help you advance in your business. Do not give of all of your time, energy and resources for nothing in return. This benefits neither person in the transaction. Keep your transactions fair - to both you and your customers. If you are giving of your time, energy and resources for seemingly nothing in return, scan the transactions to determine the benefit to you. Most often, you will have started the giving with the intent of receiving something in return - and that is fair. Do not deny the benefit to you or allow others to hold you in high regard for your selflessness. It is not genuine, and may be based on a temptation to seek authority, or to become a "master" or one who is above others. Again, this is the competitive mind.

You can now see why it is necessary to take that long hard look in the mirror and to thoroughly scan your business to determine whether you are truly the type of person you want to attract into your business. You can only attract others like you. Nothing more, nothing less.

Watch for an upcoming article explaining why we never need to act hastily, or take any action at all until we are absolutely certain of the action to take. In fact let's put the notion of "no pain no gain" to bed. Let's make our work effortless and more productive instead!
